1970s Mustard and Cream Floral Knit Fabric Headband
There's something about this thick, almost woollen texture fabric which makes me so happy. It started life as a single, retro, long curtain, which I found buried deep in a basket of vintage fabrics at a local charity shop. It was so narrow and slim, and some of it was faded from storage - it would simply never curtain again...
But I knew, the second I felt it, it would make a stunning headband. It's thick, fluffy material is stiff and prominent and the pattern is so classically early seventies - and my gosh would you believe I was right?
Perfect for the cooler months, this cosy boho headband makes the most beautiful hair accessory, and would look dreamy with a traditional camel wool coat and a great pair of tan leather boots!
All of our headbands are handmade with repurposed materials, giving them a whole new lease of life. They are hand sewn in my Cornish studio and carefully glued around the headband. The headband itself is soft, comfortable and doesn't pinch behind the ears! These must not be machine washed - if needed, just wipe over with a damp cloth to clean.
